Playing the violin

So to day I've had my first violin lesson since sixth grade or something. I litterally begin exactly where I stopped- holding everything right and learning how to play twinkle twinkle little star... Well, I did have a go at other things too like "Fjäriln' vingad" and the like but thought it too boring to be rubbing and scraping the same basic tunes over and over again to get them right. I wanted to begin with the serious stuff right away like "Delsbo brudmarsch" and so on. I was convinced that if I just took it note by note then eventually I'd be able to go all the way through with no problem. And why not? I still think that's a good idea. But here I am, all grown up and quite happy about the basics. Sounds bad enough... ;)
