Humanity

It never ceases to amaze me what people put their energy on condemning.

So there’s this 18-year-old “woman” (I’m not sure 35-year-olds are adults these days…) in Great Lakes, USA, who has fallen in love with her own father, 18 years her senior, whom she recently met after he’s been absent since she was 3 or 4. They plan to get married and have children.

And people are in an uproar about the poor, poor children they might get that might have disabilities and other health issues because of the too limited genetic variation between the parents. Which is true; the risks are greatly increased because of this but they may well have fully “normal” and healthy children too.

That’s where my reaction comes in. One can live a perfectly happy life even with disabilities, big or small- if society allows you to. Or that’s my firm belief. If the biggest problem people have with incest is that it may result in children society don’t want- then society has bigger issues than these children may have. And that make me a lot more upset than reading about some estranged daughter and father falling in love- so what? I don’t care as long as they’re happy which they claim to be- who am I to judge?

Some argue that the 18-year-old is just some confused child, with a broken childhood and a psychological imbalance because of it, looking for a father figure, and that this said father is using her gullibility. Perhaps she’s happy now, but what about in ten years from now? When she’s all grown up and realizes she has a bunch of retards trailing after her, fathered by her own father and the laughingstock of the whole wide world?

Still says more about the society she lives in rather than her and her relationship to her father- which we know nothing about really. If nobody judged the father and the daughter would they be unhappy because of the nature of the relationship then? Or would they break up like any couple may do and there’s nothing more to it?

Since everyone deciding to have children are selfish and taking huge risks, not only with their own health but the child too, I don’t see why some parents would be less worthy of taking those risks than others. Sure; it may be unwise to do it when there’s increased risks involved but the argument could be made that people on social benefits should not be allowed to reproduce either. How will they be able to pay for food, clothes and expensive toys that every other kid have? People with disabilities may suffer the same restrictions- which they have historically. Parents of mixed ethnicity, can they have children or will they be bullied so severely the parents should be strongly discouraged? How about homosexuals and transgendered wannabe parents?

If we are to put restrictions on some while others go free I become mildly annoyed with society at large. Everybody should be treated the same in this regard- no one should be allowed to reproduce. Humankind is a retarded species to begin with and the most dangerous predator and parasite that ever walked the earth. Frankly; it’s time we put an end to its rule and devastation and we don’t do it by forbidding incestuous couples to reproduce but the reproductive majority- the so called “normal” people who have a far greater chance to even conceive…
